Equipment: Line 6 Bogner Amplifier. Guitars: Ibanez Frank Gambale, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Statocaster, Dean
Exotica Acoustic, Custom built Ibanez/Warmoth. He uses Seymour Duncan, Ibanez & GFS Humbucker Pick-ups and
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings.
Musical Influences: Everything from familiar classic rock bands through eclectic and sometimes obscure progressive
rock bands. Jeff grew up on Styx, Boston, Kansas, Mahogany Rush, Yes, Rush, Whitesnake, Gentle Giant, Happy
The Man, Deep Purple, Chicago and Triumvirat. More current & prog influences include Dream Theater, Freak
Kitchen, Altered State, Kevin Gilbert, Porcupine Tree, Spock’ s Beard, From Zero, Biffy Clyro, Kim Mitchell and
Galactic Cowboys. That said – he'll listen to pretty much everything.
Jeff owns and operates Imagine That Graphics where he does everything from computer aided graphic design,
airbrush mural work, pinstriping, signage and logo design to simple cutting of vinyl letters and printed vinyl vehicle
wraps and banners. He's painted everything from fingernails to semis and everything in between. His motto has
always been: If it holds still long enough, it gets paint on it. Samples of his work and business contact information is
available at www.airbrushman.com.
His interests are (obviously) art & music, LOVES his kids, grandkids and his beautiful wife Beth who has been
beside him every step of the way for the last 30 years. He is an insatiable reader, loves watching movies and enjoys
cooking. Jeff has really been enjoying his time with the band even though, as he recently admitted to Mik, he's as
nervous as a rabbit dipped in bacon grease that has been dropped into a room full of Dobermans. But…so far….so
good.
A few shout outs:
First and foremost – to Dale Hayes, my musical mentor/guide. Dale has spent years and countless amounts of
money selflessly putting together CD’ s and artwork so my musical horizons would never be overshadowed by the
vast amount of music out there to be listened to. The huge investment of his time and friendship have kept me on the
cutting edge of what is available and have helped to shape my desire to learn all I can from the myriad of artists out
there and in turn, the artist I have become. Dale has been a constant supporter of my musical career, be it with bands
or my studio work. I hope that each of you reading this is fortunate enough to have a friend so true.
In closing- to Ed Wager. You’ ve left a large pair of shoes to fill and I shall do my best to continue to give the
dedicated followers of the band the same level of performance you have always given them. Beth and I always
enjoyed coming out and watching you and the band wow the crowd and I always loved the tone you got your
personalized Strat. I am still trying to dial that sound in !! I wish you well in your future endeavors.
