For those of you who have been out of the loop for awhile, we wanted to let you know that our drummer Dave had

a stroke last June.  Since that time we've had a lot of help from some very good friends who have filled in for Dave

during the last several months...Scott Medendorp, Dan Premo, and Mark Styburski (Mik's brother).....and Mark is

doing a great job and has agreed to fill Dave's spot until he's able to return. Not a moment to soon, because we

have pretty full year coming up.

   Please continue to show your support and continue to help us welcome Mark to the CoverStory family.


   Dave has a long hard road in front of him and it's going to be measured in little steps each and every day. The

family is forever thankful for all of the continued thoughts and prayers sent Dave's way. All of us in CoverStory will be

posting updates on our facebook and on our website whenever there is some more news to share. If you know of

anyone who wants to keep informed on Dave's condition, have them become a fan of our band page or direct them

here to our website. You can also post notes to Dave in our Fan Forum link and we'll make sure he sees them.

Again, keep those prayers and positive thoughts coming for our friend Dave and his family during this difficult time.

   Dave has recently gotten a new smaller brace for walking that really has improved his mobility.  He sounded pretty

geeked about it when I spoke with him this week.  Jenn showed me a video of him cruising down a hallway in a near

run!  That's improvement baby !!  Last time I was at his house I saw he had his kit set up in the livingroom.  That was

a great sign and gives us all hope that he'll be back with us soon.  Remember David, no improvement is too small.  

We're all rooting for you!  Keep your prayers coming everyone - they are working !!
